Know your science. In ideal conditions sound travels at 1,125 ft/s. That's a smidge over 4.6 seconds per mile. Good app.

Nice, simple app. Nicl, one mile per five seconds is approximately correct, based on the speed of sound near sea level (767 MPH = 0.213 mile/second).

Does not count right. Every second is a mile. This says five seconds is a mile.
