This app can not kill music apps anymore if on Android 2.2 or higher. But SleepTimer will try to pause the music player with a "Pause Media Broadcast" (selectable in settings). If that does not work, SleepTimer will turn the volume down as a last step.
If you rooted your phone SleepTimer tries to still kill the app through root.
