Screen too dark, screen too bright?
Brighteriffic lets you toggle the global screen brightness using a Home shortcut.
It is designed to do just that and be super simple.
If you want more advanced settings with time-based profiles, checkout Timeriffic on Market.
Note: users must deactivate auto-brightness in settings.

Would be perfect if it toggles between 3 brightness levels instead of 2. I need it dim at night, medium for indoor use and bright under the sun. :)

Toggle with widget or w app is nice. Screen going light then dark is a little weird on donut. Backlight! app switches a bit smoother.

On droid X, I preset 2 levels with sliders. Tap to toggle between them. PERFECT!
