Battery Widget show an animated icon for battery level and more. Tap Widget for more Options, You can set 1 of 3 different colors for your battery widget, Green, Purple and Blue. This widget lets you see your battery level in real time and the percentage.
This Battery Widget is very friendly on battery life and uses very little battery.
To Open > Long Press Home> Android Widgets > Battery Widget

Was great until last update, it stopped working for Android 2.1 only works for Android 2.3 or so I was told. Galaxy S still no froyo 2.2 update...
