Description

This application is designed to allow users to keep track of scores and video from gymnastic competitions. This application is not the only score keeper application on the Market. It is however one of the most downloaded. And of course, it is still free!

The main application has options for adding, editing, and deleting a gymnast or meet from the database. Once the gymnasts are added, users can create meets and select the gymnasts that are competing in each meet. From the Scores activity, users can keep track of scores for each gymnast for each event as well as take or view video of each event for each gymnast.

The Gymnast activity allows users to enter a target All Around score that they would like to achieve. During the competition, once scores are updated, the Scores activity will display what score each gymnast needs on the remaining events to reach their target.

After a meet is completed, users can view statistics for a selected gymnast. The statistics displayed are the "Best" scores from all meets, the "Average" scores and the Standard Deviation. Users can also get charts showing score versus time for all events or a specific event.

The app has a widget that allows users to control everything for a meet from entering scores to recording video all right from the home screen with ease. Users can also open the application right to the scores activity for a meet or open the app itself. The widget will crash upon first try. It will work after that. Dumb developer issue and I ran out of time. Will be fixed soon.

As a final touch, users can personalize the main activity background by using a picture of their own. Take a picture of your gymnasts and use that as a background.
