What's new in this version (1.10):
Minor UI changes - added Restart and Cancel buttons on-screen (for those devices without hardware buttons).
Tested on the Nook Color as well as various phones.
Description
TeaChimer is a simple-to-use, reliable countdown timer that you can have always handy. Save a timer for your favorite tea or perfect egg, and start it with a simply tap on the name.
Need a "naughty spot" timer for each child? It's simple to set up, and you can give each one their own distinct sound at the end. For more discrete timing needs, you can eliminate the sounds and just pop up a message on the Notifier bar.
It runs in the background, even if another application has control of the screen.

**** SECURITY NOTICE ****
TeaChimer uses the following permissions ONLY:
Storage
Modify/delete SD card contents
Hardware controls
Change your audio settings
System tools
Prevent phone from sleeping
Phone calls
Read phone state and identity
The last one is a result of building for Android 1.6 compatibility - TeaChimer does *NOT* actually access the phone information in any way.

Validated on HTC Evo. Timers work exactly as configured. If you can't hear them, you didn't select a ringtone (or your volume is low). No Ads! - RMB

hasn't worked for months

Poor UI. App should allow concurrent timers, not just one at a time.

Unreliable

Uninstalled- always turns down my ringer

Great program, but it turns my ringer volume to 0 for no reason!

Tested all timer apps and find this one the best. Simple and useful. Like the option to set up timers for different occasions.

Can't set vibrate timer. Can't edit existing timers. Useless.

I would rate higher except that the ONLY way to set time is tap-tap-tap. Should be able to set by typing.

This is one of the only reliable timers I could find in the market. It works!
