*This app is not related to HTC's Today in History widget. This app has never had a widget.
Ever wanted to know what happened on this day in history? Today in History accesses Wikipedia to find major events that happened today in previous years.
How to use it
*Change the date by clicking on the date at the top.
*Share events by holding an event down for a few seconds
*Switch between births, deaths, and events by hitting menu on your phone.
*Save dates to view when there is no internet connection by hitting the menu button, save offline.
Find an inaccurate event?
Today in History displays the events on wikipedia, so if you feel there's a problem with a specific event, or you feel the date is wrong, submit your thoughts to the wikipedia page for the specific date. For example, if there's an event in April 21st that belongs in May 21st. Go to the wikipedia page for April 21 and submit your request to change the event's date.
This application is UNTESTED on tablets. It may or may not work.
Permissions Needed:
*Internet - For obvious reasons. Need internet to pull events off of wikipedia
*Access Network State - To determine whether or not you are connected to the internet so the app doesn't crash trying to connect to wikipedia when there's no internet connection.

Chrases a lot when changing date, uses too much space. If you have to use the internet for the adds, you could also dowload data
