Lightning Bug features a library of almost 200 sound loops and samples ranging from the natural peace of rain storms and ocean waves, to pure white noise, city trains, meditation bells, acoustic and electronic instruments, and down-tempo break beats.
Lightning Bug also includes many soothing backgrounds and sound visualizations. It even has a stylish, customizable digital clock with alarm, a great replacement for your bedside alarm clock!

GREAT NEWS! The audio skipping issue has been fixed!

For user with Gingerbread or lower:
In our 2.8 release we introduce a feature called ‘Lightning Bug Audio’. Lighting Bug Audio is a custom audio system we built just for Lightning Bug that effectively fixes the gap\skipping issue many of you noticed as of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). As great as it is, we decided to make Lightning Bug Audio optional and ‘off’ by default because its still so new. If you’re experiencing the gap\skipping issue though, here’s how to turn it on:
- Launch Lightning Bug
- Tap the screen to bring up the main menu
- Tap the settings button (the clock icon)
- Lightning Bug Audio is the first option, tap it to enable it

For users with Ice Cream Sandwhich:
As of our 2.9 release Lightning Bug Audio now supports Ice Cream Sandwhich! It will enable by default when you install 2.9, you don't have to do anything. Tested and confirmed on our Galaxy Nexus test device. If you're using an ICS device and still experience audio skipping, please contact support.
