The original and classic Space Invaders faithfully recreated for Android.

This affordable game allows you to defend Earth against an invading army of 'droids.

It features three colour modes (full colour, invaders black and white, and everything black and white). The music/sound effects are a careful recreation of the original Space Invaders sound.

You can play using the screen by itself, or the screen and accelerometer to control your ship.

It also has a shared worldwide highscore board. (This does not require you to register or login).

Please note: this app has no relation to 'Droid Invaders (Free)' that was developed by a different company using the same name.

Compatible with all devices including tablets. This has been rumoured to be the best Space Invaders style game available on Android, but we wouldn't know anything about that!

NOTE: This is the Droid Invaders (with over 600 sales and 4.5 star rating) that was up a few days ago, due to the Android Market we had to start over. No need to update to this version if you have it already installed.
