Our billing system does not accidentally charge $15.99 as some have reported. Instead, we place a $15.99 hold when entering your credit card but never collect more than the actual purchase to which you separately agree (i.e. $3.99 for a rental). The hold enables us to verify the card and available funds for renting movies or joining the discount club.
