Description
*BikeRoute is no longer actively developed, we recommend UK users check out the excellent apps from BikeHub and CycleStreets.*
If you're interested in taking over the BikeRoute codebase, please get in touch.
BikeRoute is the 'almost satnav'* for cyclists, live turn by turn route guidance and cycling specific routes all over the world.
If you find a route plan fails, please send us the start and end addresses so we can investigate!
If you are riding a CycleStreets route and you aren't happy with it, please use the feedback option to report it to CycleStreets. BikeRoute does not do any route planning - routes are planned by Google, CycleStreets.net or MapQuest.

*By 'almost satnav' we mean that you can enable spoken directions and 'satnav mode' in preferences, which will result in directions being spoken as you cycle along, but at present the app will not automatically replan your route if you stray. You can manually replan the route based on your current location by choosing replan from the menu.

All in all a great tool that sources excellent CycleStreets routes. Now I don't get lost in London any more! Auto replan needs more work though.

Nice app for cycle routes. Wish you could set it to navigate only using cycleways and wish you could turn of caching images.

Tried Bournenouth to Sandbanks and it wanted me to go to Poole then back across water!

Unable to plot a personalized route. It will give a route to a place, but will not plot a loop in a town.

Very good, identifies most cycle paths and tracks. Preferences needs option to select navigate by track/path only.
