What's new in this version (1.0.6):
- Added Pixie preferences activity.
- New preference flag: show HTTP headers on GET. If enabled, all headers are shown for regular HTTP requests. This can slow down the interface if used on a busy network.
- New preference option: force network interface. Select any one of your device's interfaces after starting Pixie once to bypass the auto mode.
- Removed "about pixie" from main list, still accessible via context
Description
Pixie is a passive wifi network monitor capable of running on rooted Android devices.
Pixie allows your phone to capture network traffic from other devices on the wireless network, just like Wireshark and Kismet.
Please test your phone with Pixie Probe BEFORE buying this software!

I use this for totally legal reasons.

Best in its class. Needs WPA support. Real (unassociated) monitor mode would be full of major win.

Looks good but just doesn't work on my phone (although probe said it would) HTC Desire on Orange UK
Tim (**)
Appeared to work in the probe but it was just capturing itself

Did not work on G2 Vision.

Fantastic! I have been waiting for an app like this. Runs great on Evo 4G with CM6.1 RC1.

Works brilliantly, WPA support would give it the full five stars, but otherwise great.
Dave (**)
Not like kismet. Not passive.

Works great in nexus one. Good work!

overpriced and theres better free options. bought it after reading good reviews.. theres tons of other apps that have the same functionality, better layout, and aren't as expensive.
