What's new in this version (f1.0.17):
Updated to include latest FAA database.
Fixed bugs for some phones.
This application is intended to provide quick reference to the pilot for nearby airports while in the air. While in the air it's assumed you don't have radio on (except GPS) so access to other internet-based information isn't available. This is a self-contained application that has all airports in the US. Currently excludes private airports to save size. GPS accuracy is NOT dependable (device dependent and not certified) so be a prepared pilot and use this as a supplemental information source while in the air.
NO MORE BETA! Full working version. Give it a shot!
Location aware, provides FAA airports within 30 miles of your position. Great for having Control tower, CTAF, Unicom handy while you're flying. Updates as you fly, in a battery friendly way. Currently updates every 2 mins or 10 miles. GPS accuracy is NOT dependable so be a prepared pilot and use this as a supplemental information source while in the air.
Free version. Improvement suggestions welcome - Please!
Use it? Rate it! Really! Helps us determine if and how to evolve the application!
Currently requests Internet access to source banners. Works without Internet (per our design goal above!).
Set for copy to SD card if your device and OS support.

Beta is over. Where's the final release? Seriously!
Do not download. Expired and unavailable. Too bad. Droid.
Beta expired, says to buy final. Ok...
Beta ran out, no new version. Sounds like it had great potential. Will change rating for a usable version. Uninstalled.
Lots of potential but I want to be able to select airports and I want all of the afd info available and not just frequencies and runway numbers.
When will new version be out?
Beta ran out. Otherwise it was great.
