Daily commute a problem? Take a different way. Chicago Traffic can help. Traffic maps & weather, food, music, daily events, radios and more for the Chicago Illinois. Uses live data and displays color-coded problem areas on maps. Red is bad, green is good, yellow not so nice. Police Scanner! Things to do today! Weather! Music! Food! And now, have an unlimited number of favorites. Favorites are custom views of the traffic on the roads you choose to center and zoom in to. Try it out! ... and check it on the way out the door!

The extra stuff in this app is nice, but to just check traffic, the Google Maps app preinstalled on my phone loads much quicker, without the ads.

If you just want a quick overview of Chicago metro traffic, this is a good app. Basically Google maps with traffic overlay for the Chicago area.
