The Chatstreams application (by PeerFinity Ltd.) allows you to see what is being talked about near you, what subjects or ‘streams’ are being discussed. You can set up chatstreams of your own so you can find out what people around you think or know. It’s great to hear what others around you think on your favourite subjects, or just use the local knowledge to get tips on anything around you. We’ve seen proximity chat (chat with people near you) on accommodation, sales, nearby bars, cafes and restaurants, entertainment, sports events, hobbies and things to do or even just chatting to find new friends with similar tastes to you.
Remember, as you move around you are automatically chatting to people nearby who may know about the area. You don’t need to tell PeerFinity where you are, it hooks you up with other PeerFinity users nearby so you automatically get local knowledge.

You can download PeerFinity’s Chatstreams for free from the Android Marketplace (it requires that you have downloaded the PeerFinity main application).
Chatstreams requires a Google account.
