Strooperoids is a new take on the classic Asteroids arcade game, combining the fun and excitement of an arcade game with the serious business of training your brain! In this version, Asteroids come in the form of Strooperoids. You, as the pilot of the red spaceship have to dodge the Strooperoids and destroy the one Strooperoid that has been selected for destruction.
Strooperoids is Asteroids combined with the Stroop test. The Stroop test is a test used by psychologists to demonstrate the reaction time of a task. The task is designed to measure selective attention, cognitive flexibility and processing speed. Yes, that's right, by simply spending a few minutes a day walloping the stuffing out of some Strooperoids you can increase your attention span as well as improving the time and capacity with which you can process information and plan an appropriate response! What more could you possibly want than that?
