SmartExercise is an app to help you keep track of your daily exercises. Major features:

The meter will take use of your accelerometer and GPS unit on your device. So Accelerometer is required on device. GPS unit is **OPTIONAL**.
GPS unit will consume your battery quickly. You can disable your GPS unit on your phone to save battery before start. In this case, the app can only estimate the distance you walked by steps.

This showed 6780ft and 450 steps for a 5-mile walk, even with the sensitivity set to "highest". HTC Evo.

You really couldn't get any more inaccurate, even with the GPS enabled. Switching back to runkeeper.

It's a brilliant idea and one of few well rated but it is too sensitive. It scored 130 paces for 100 done. It also froze. On loading it went to 0.

Started app while I was sat down and before I had stood up I had done 26 steps! Not very accurate. Uninstalling now.
