Description
LightningCalc is a simple application that calculates the distance from you to lightning you have seen.
LightningCalc does this by using the "flash to bang" method of dividing the number of seconds between the time you see lightning and the time you hear thunder. Can be set to miles or kms.

No, you really don't want the camera and mic involved. And, if you want km, try menu->prefs.
