What's new in this version (1.4):

Read it loud! Premium now has an interface to communicate with third-party apps like Llama and other profile managers - it can be activated by sending it an intent de.exesmobile.messagereaderpremium.ACTIVATE and deactivated by the intent de.exesmobile.messagereaderpremium.DEACTIVATE.

There is now a setting that adds a delay before the message is read. This can be useful if your notification sound takes a bit longer to be played.

Attention: This is not an unlock key! If you already have Read it loud! SMS Reader Basic installed, both applications will be installed on your phone. You can then safely uninstall the Read it loud! SMS Reader Basic.

Read it loud! SMS Reader does just what the name suggests - once activated it receives all incoming SMS messages and reads them out over your phones speaker. This can come very handy if you are driving in your car or just lounging around on your sofa with the phone lying a few meters away ;-)

Explanation of permissions:

RECEIVE_SMS is needed to read SMS content on arrival
READ_CONTACTS is needed to translate incoming phone numbers to names
WAKE_LOCK is needed to wake the telephone up from standby when a message arrives and keep it active while reading.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETE is used to show the notification icon on phone startup if the app was active before shutdown.
