Fix for Jelly Bean
This app/shortcut opens directly the settings app of mobile network settings to switch between "2G" and "allow 3G" networks (e.g. to save battery). A direct switch is sadly not possible.
It places also a shortcut in the statusbar to reach the settings from everywhere.

Quick & easy to switch between 2G/3G. If only it's able to immediately switch without going until the menu first. ~SGS9K rooted
Wish it could switch immediately but that's OK because google didn't allow that.
Im sure its great on other phones. How do i switch on captivate?
Rubbish does not even take u to a site to take 2g on off uninstaled

Great app but for some reason the shortcut is not appearing in my notifications on my HTC desire 2.2 anymore, tried uninstall and reboot but no joy.
