To launch a ball, simply touch anywhere on the bottom section of the screen, move finger in the desired direction and release.
It's somewhat similar to Snood, Bust-A-Move, Puzzle Bobble.

Fun, but I found a glitch -- after shooting a ball, you can re-shoot it as many times as you want before it connects. Also sounds would be nice.
