What's new in this version (1.2):

This free update has minor changes including the addition of a Modes button to make it more obvious, and easier, to switch between the four color matching strategies.

Previously, tapping the title bar was the only way to switch between modes, which was not clear to some users.

Description

The Color Match app is used for selecting appropriate matching colors. This is mostly intended for fashion coordination but can also be used for interior decorating, graphic design, weaving, Christmas tree lights, etc.

The app uses four color matching strategies:
- matching different shades of the same hue
- adjacent colors which are 30 degrees apart on the color wheel
- complementary colors which are 180 degrees apart on the color wheel
- contrasting colors lying 120 degrees apart on the color wheel

The user first selects their basic color on a detailed color wheel. Then they then can toggle between the four matching strategies.

The app will display up to three matching colors on a swaths page that allows varying the darkness shades till an ideal match is identified.
