Description
SongDNA allows you to quickly search for your favorite song's detailed information. It includes tourdates, artist's bio + homepage, highest chart rank, music videos and more.
Should run on Android 1.5 and higher.

Features in detail:
- Highest position of the song in the US Billboard charts,
- Albums with the track on it,
- Artist's tourdates,
- Directly buy your tracks on Amazon,
- A link to the song lyrics (as per LyricWiki.com permission),
- Up to ten videos of the song,
- Stay up-to-date with tweets by SongDNA,
- Other releases by the artist,
- Quick access to official homepage, bio, wikipedia of the artist,
- Store your favorites for easy access,
- Immediately search for details of the track that is now playing on your phone (if media player is supported),
- Twitter vibe: see what people on the Internet are saying about the track and/or artist,
- Even see what the artist is tweeting about (tell us if you know one we missed, we'll show your name as the one who spotted it!),
- Share artist and track information on Twitter in just a few taps,
- and many other nifty little details you'll discover by yourself :).
Permissions explained:
Network communication: for retrieving data, statistics, ads
@Maya: give us an example because we can find for example the hits 'kings of leon' with 'pyro', 'pitbull' with 'everything'! Of course w/o the quotes...
@Dallas: bet your mp3 player for example doesn't show the tweets from the artist, tweets about the song, nor will it show where the artist is performing near you... :) So that's why the app can still have added value for you :) Tip: you can easily retrieve info about a song you're currently playing with your mediaplayer on your Android device by pressing the "Get now playing" button of SongDNA when playing that song.

Almost great... (You have to exit before you can use again the 'get now playing' button. And it needs a better source for lyrics.)

Brilliant app! May I suggest one extra feature? Click a button and it finds the songs chords and tabs! That would complete it for me.
