What's new in this version (1.2):
Version 1.2 fixes a bug where the last iteration time was reported instead of the minimum iteration time. 1.2 also features improved timer granularity. Also as a result of new dual core CPUs with 1MB of cache the array sizes have been increased to 4MB (copy) and 6MB (sum) to avoid measuring cache performance instead of main memory performance.
Description
Very simple memory benchmark. The benchmark reports the MB/sec for a simple integer array copy and sum. The benchmark runs 4 times and displays the copy and sum MB/sec numbers.
