What's new in this version (2.0.3):

Now working with latest Gmail, currently 2.3.5! As Google has removed all access to the on-device Gmail database this app now needs to query the Gmail servers for the unread count which is why it now requires internet access. It can still listen for changes in the unread count so it is not polling so this should not affect the battery more than before!

Version 2.0.3 fixes an issue that happend to some phones!

Gmail Unread Count 2.0 lets you see how many unread emails you have directly on your home screen! You can have multiple widgets for different accounts and labels so you easily can keep track of different kind of emails

This application does not poll your email account for changes but instead listens for changes to the unread count making it have a minimal impact on battery!

Currently not supported on Honeycomb tablets!

There is currently a issue regarding Droid X and 2.3. Droid X users will not be able to buy before I fix this!

How-to use a custom icon:
Place the icon in a directory named gmailunreadcount on the SD card. The icon should be in jpeg/png/gif format and be 72px for hdpi, 48px for mdpi and 36px for ldpi.
